Home office
My time at the Home Office has spanned over a range of services. My collaborations involved working with web and app teams on multiple complex services that worked with each other while keeping in line with the GDS Service Standard and the Home Office Design System (HODS).
Multi service platform
• Taking the existing technical discovery of this new platofrm and complimenting it with a UCD discovery to see what aligns and what additional changes would need to be considered.
• Assisting with research across a wide range of internal users quickly helped with building our first HTML prototypes where mutliple services would work in one 'form' without users choosing the wrong path.

External service for travelling to UK
• End-to-end prototyping in HTML and Sketch was used in testing at multiple airports across the UK as we focussed on users with lower digital confidence and where English was not their main language.
• Collaborations were in place with separate web and app teams in order to keep design iterations and journey mapping consistent while the service was gradually opening out to the world.
• Additional collaborations with design agencies helped provide improvements to assisting visuals which were needed for non-english speaking users.

Internal service for AI data
• Large design changes were needed in order to make this internal service optimised for mobile as well as improve its accessibility.
• Updating the existing component library in Figma with the plan of moving all designs and prototyping into the prototype kit using the Home Office Design System (HODS).
• Improvements were made by myself in design history documentation and process within the scrum environment.
